I know we had signed Leo's memorial before, but here it is three months since his passing and this day has reminded me of what good people the Stoffel family truly are. Through Leo, Bob and Anne Marie, God was able to create a wonderful group of loving people that I am proud to call family. You guys are on my mind today.

A Tribute to my Father in Law...
Dear Dad,
I miss you so much already...
You played such a big part in my life. Through laughter and tears you always showed such greatness in love, strength, respect and compassion.
From our wedding day, to the back apartment, where Rusty was your faithful puppy dog companion and our new pup Whiskey who was your first Grandpuppy. Me and you driving down to Carvel for our treats and a vanilla cup for Whiskey, what a memory. I know our pet family gives you a 5 Star Paw Salute from Rusty, Whiskey, Brandy,Jr.,Fivel,Lacy,Shelley,Chester and Jack and all in between.
To the birth of your grandbabies Tabetha and David. You and Mom coming to see them in the hospital and holding them for the first time, how proud you were.
Eight years in the back apartment, you and Bob and the firehouse, strollers, toys, coloring books, story books, pools, junglejim set,Wonder Woman, winter scarfs in the summer time and Annie, can't forget about Tabetha's Annie doll. Tabetha popping in at any given moment and you and Mom always stopping what you were dong to share the moment with her.
Coming to lend a helping hand every time we needed it. From the time we lived in the back apartment, you were so happy we bought a house yet sad to see us go.
Memories of you and Mom coming to visit watching David on his big wheel, soccer, B-Ball, cheerleading, communions, confirmations, proms, graduations, weddings,David's trip.
Memories renovating our house, summers at Grandma Sophie's. Tabetha and David have such wonderful memories spending those summers with you, Mom and Grandma Sophie.
Our traditional walk on the boardwalk every Thanksgiving. Bob and I still talk about how much we have missed those walks in the passed few years, we will miss them even more now.
All the Christmas's we spent together from the back apartment, to our home here in the O'burg, to David's home where you added another Great Grandbaby to your resume, Andrew David.
And little Andrew bringing a smile to you in your final days. It will be an honor to share the smiles he brought to you, with him as he grows.
I will always treasure these beautiful memories in my heart forever.
Your the best father in law a girl could ever have had and an outstanding Grandpa & Great Grandpop-pop.
I celebrate your life and it has been my pleasure to have been your daughter in law and to have been a part of your life.
God Bless You..
I Love You Dad,
Anne-Marie

Every time I saw Mr. Stoffels at family gatherings, he was as happy as could be, and since the gatherings were for his grandchildren, you could see the pride he had for them. We will miss him at those gatherings. God's Blessings for comfort to the Stoffels' families. Love, Bob and Sandy

Our deepest sympathy goes out to the Stoffels family.
My memories go back to the 1970's when Anne Marie and Bob lived in Haledon. I would stop in frequently to see Mr. & Mrs. Stoffels with my sister Anne Marie.
Mr. Stoffels was alway so fun loving and friendly. He even drove me to my wedding!!
I will keep these fond memories. His yard was always perfect and his car was always clean! I remember how proud he was to be a member of Co. 1's across the street!! And of course, how he loved the Grand Children! His eyes would light up when he was with Tabetha & David!
If I should ever hear that Co. 1 fire horn again, my thoughts will be brought back to him.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
Love,
Nancy & Steve
