Obituary of Ruth H. Wuensch

Ruth H. Wuensch, age 99, of Wyckoff, NJ died Thursday, March 27, 2008 at Christain Healthcare Center, Wyckoff. Mrs. Wuensch was born May 12, 1908 in Paterson, NJ the daughter of the late John and the late Sarah (White) Slack. She was employed by Paterson Board Of Education, Paterson, NJ as an elementary grade school teacher at School No. 16. Mrs. Wuensch was a member of St. Mary's Episcopal Church, Haledon, NJ. She was predeceased by her husband Bernhardt. She is survived by two sons: Bernhardt Wuensch of Concord, MA and Richard Wuensch of Baton Rouge, LA, her grandchildren; Deborah Herdon Haynes, Joanna Caldwell Rowan, Elizabeth Ann Ross, Stefan Raymond Wuensch, and Katrina Ruth Wuensch. her great grandchildren; Brenna, Kelia, Aine, Jonathan and Joshua. Calling hours will be Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at DeLuccia - Lozito Funeral Home, 265 Belmont Avenue, Haledon, NJ. The funeral will be Saturday at 10:30 at the funeral home.. Burial will be in Laurel Grove Cemetery, Totowa, NJ.
