Obituary of Maria Concetta Riola

Maria Concetta Riola, age 100, of West Milford died Sunday, December 8, 2013 at home in West Milford. Maria was born October 14, 1913 in Paterson, NJ. She is the daughter of the late Giovanni and the late Orazia (Ferraro) Nativo. She served in the Woman's Army Air Corps during World War II and attained the rank of Corporal. She was a teacher for the Paterson Board Of Education, Paterson, NJ and last taught at Kennedy High School in Paterson. She is survived by a step son, Michael Riola and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers, Joseph and Angelo Nativo. A Mass of Christian burial will be held 9:30 am on Thursday, December 12 at St. Gerard's R.C. Church, , Paterson, NJ. Entombment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Paterson. Visiting hours will be Wednesday, December 11 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O.
