Obituary of Anthony Valentin
Anthony Valentino, age 87, of Paterson, NJ passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 4, 2017. He was born October 9, 1930 to Antonio and Alexandria (nee Carfaro) in Jersey City, NJ. He attended schools in Jersey City.
He was a proud member of the United States Marine Corps and served from 1950 to 1953.
Upon discharge from the service, he met and married his wife, Alberta (nee Cetrano) in 1954.
He was employed by Madison Food Sales and Sunbrite Dyeing and Finishing. Together they raised their beautiful daughters. He was very handy and built many things for his family.
He was predeceased by his daughter, Dorothy Valentino Velez. His brothers, Joseph, Domenick and Vincent Valentino, his sisters, Carmella Webber, Philomena D'Amato and Eleanor Basile.
He is survived by his wife, Alberta his daughters, Rose Mastroianni and her husband Eugene and Toni Patullo and her husband Joseph. He is also survived by his son-in-law, Hiram Velez, his grandchildren, Ashley, Lindsey and Krystie Mastroianni, Joseph and Anthony Patullo, Dennis Perez, Jose and Tatiana Arroyo and Gyanna Renne.
Funeral from DeLuccia-Lozito Funeral Home, 265 Belmont Avenue, Haledon, NJ on Wednesday at 9 AM. Funeral Liturgy at St. Mary's R.C. Church, Paterson, NJ at 10 AM. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa, NJ.
Visiting on Tuesday from 3-7 PM. Memorial gifts to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital would be appreciated.
