Obituary of Cristino Fontanez

Cristino Fontanez, age 81, of Paterson died Sunday, August 20, 2017 at St. Joseph's Hospital And Medical Center in Paterson, NJ. Cristino was born March 12, 1936 in Naguabo, Puerto Rico. He is the son of the late Higinio and the late Demetria (Cruz) Fontanez. He came to the United States in 1952 and settled in Paterson. He was employed by Crazy Horse in Paterson, NJ where he was a Manager for 28 years and retired in 1998. He is survived by his wife: Lydia Fontanez and his three daughters: Myriam Sosa of Paterson, NJ, Blanca LeDuc of Paterson, NJ and Vivian Fontanez of Pueblo, CO. He is also survived by his sister: Julia Fontanez and his brother Abraham Fontanez and his nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. The funeral will be held 10:00 am on Thursday, August 24 at DeLuccia - Lozito Funeral Home, 265 Belmont Avenue, Haledon, NJ. Burial will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa, NJ. Visiting hours will be Wednesday, August 23 from 5-9 pm at DeLuccia - Lozito Funeral Home, 265 Belmont Avenue, Haledon, NJ. .
