Obituary of Marie A. Devine

Marie A. Devine, age 92, of Murrells Inlet, SC died Sunday, July 16, 2017 at Hope Arbor of Murrells Inlet, SC. Marie was born August 14, 1924 in Brooklyn, NY. She is the daughter of the late Charles and the late Mary (Donnely) DeCantillon. She lived in Haledon, NJ before moving to Murrells Inlet, SC. She retired from Bankers Trust, New York, NY as a Head Bank Teller in 1990. She was a former parishioner of St. Paul's R.C. Church in Prospect Park, NJ. She also was a member of the St. Paul's Seniors and the St. Paul Rosary Society. She is survived by her daughter: Catherine Devine of Murrells Inlet, SC and her son: Joseph Devine of Middletown, NJ. She is also survived by her granddaughter Meagan Devine - Collazo; and her husband Robert and her grandson, Christopher Devine. She was predeceased by her husband, Edward Devine and her Son Thomas Devine. A Mass of Christian burial will be held 11:30 am on Friday, July 21 at St. Paul's R.C. Church, 286 Haledon Avenue, Prospect Park, NJ. Burial will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa, NJ. Visiting hours will be Friday, July 21 from 9-11am at DeLuccia - Lozito Funeral Home. .
