Obituary of Ruth C. Zanes

Ruth C. Zanes, Ruth Catherine Zanes (Polzer), age 86 passed away peacefully on July 7, 2017. She was born April 23, 1931 in Paterson, NJ to Joseph and Rose Polzer (Meissen). Ruth will be remembered for her love of her family, her sense of humor, and enjoyed a good coffee during trips to Atlantic City. Ruth is survived by her loving children, Deborah Gutches (Stones) and her husband Richard of Wayne, RJ Doornbos and her husband Robert McCormack of Randolph and Delaney Zanes of Mount Pocono, PA. She was predeceased by her son Joseph Zanes of Haledon and sister Joan Johnstone of Erskine Lakes. She is also survived by seven dear grandchildren, Erik, Richie, Colin, Delaney (Billy), Heidi, Jolee, and JT, six great-grandchildren, Zachary, Corinne, Madeleine, Megan, Michael, and Zane, plus two great-great grandchildren, Gavin and Scarlett. Funeral from DeLuccia-Lozito Funeral Home, 265 Belmont Avenue, Haledon, NJ on Thursday at 8:30 AM. Funeral Liturgy at St. Paul's R.C. Church, Prospect Park, NJ at 9:30 AM. Cremation, private. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing Wednesday, July 12th from 6-8 PM. .
