Obituary of Anna Valenti

Anna Valenti, age 78, of North Haledon died Thursday, May 25, 2017 at Van Dyke Manor in Ridgewood, NJ. Anna was born March 17, 1939 in Solarino, Sicily, Italy . She is the daughter of the late Paul and Concetta (Liistro) Valenti. She came to the United States in 1961 and settled in Paterson, NJ. She has lived in North Haledon most of her life. She was a Cafeteria Aid at George Washington School in Wayne, NJ for the past 30 years. She is survived by her husband: Salvatore Valenti , her two daughters: Nella Nakonechny and her husband William of Oakland, NJ, Tina Benevenga and her husband Blaise of North Haledon, NJ and her two sons: Paul Valenti and his wife Mary Ann of North Haledon, NJ, and Antonio Valenti. She is also survived by her mother her mother Concetta (Liistro) Valenti, her sister: Gesa Indomenico of North Haledon, NJ, her brother: Sebastano Valenti of Solarino, Sicily, Italy and her grandchildren; Anna Nakonechny, Jaclyn Nakonechny, Nicole Nakonechny, Joey Nakonechny, Bianca Benevenga, Tiana Benevenga, Blaise Benevenga, Tiffany Benevenga, Paul Valenti and Rose Valenti. A Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:00 am on Tuesday, May 30 at St. Gerard's R.C. Church, 501 Broadway, Paterson, NJ. Entombment will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa, NJ. Visiting hours will be Monday, May 29 from 4-8 PM at DeLuccia - Lozito Funeral Home, 265 Belmont Avenue, Haledon, NJ. .
