Obituary of Rita J. Zaloum

Rita J. Zaloum, age 98, of North Haledon died Monday, October 10, 2016 at St. Joseph's Wayne Hospital of Wayne, NJ. Rita was born April 21, 1918 in Pawtucket, RI. She is the daughter of the late George and the late Bertha (Teryz) Dolatly. She was a homemaker. She was a parishioner of St. Paul's R.C. Church, Prospect Park, NJ. She was a volunteer at Christian Health Care Center and Birth Haven. She is survived by her son: Gary Zaloum and his wife Janet of North Haledon, NJ. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Kristina Roe, Matthew Zaloum, Joshua Zaloum, Timothy Zaloum, Joel Zaloum, Lydia Zaolum, Daniel Zaloum, Adam Zaloum, Raina Zaloum, Hope Zaloum , Naomi Zaloum ,Jeremiah Zaloum and daughter-in-law, Jenny Zaloum. She was predeceased by her husband George Zaloum, son, Charles Zaloum, sister, Katherine Tarakjian and brother, Charles Delatly. A Mass of Christian burial will be held 9:30 am on Saturday, October 15 at St. Paul's R.C. Church, 286 Haledon Avenue, Prospect Park, NJ. Burial will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa, NJ . Visiting hours will be Friday, October 14 from 4-8pm. .
