Obituary of Arthur Van Dolan

Arthur Van Dolan, age 87, of West Milford died Friday, July 1, 2016 at Milford Manor in West Milford, NJ. Arthur was born July 6, 1928 in Haledon, NJ. He is the son of the late Gilbert and the late Mary (Ebneth) Van Dolan. He lived in Haledon all of his life and moved to West Milford 10 years ago . He served in the Army during the Korean War and attained the rank of sergeant . He was employed by Eastern Oil, Jersey City, NJ for 45 years as a Repair Man and retired in 1992 . He was a former member of the American Legion Post in Haledon, the Veterans Club in Haledon and the West Milford Presbyterian Church in West Milford . He is survived by his daughters: Susann Rosnick and her husband Norman of Selbyville, DE, Debra Lynn Webb of Kissimmee, FL, Kelly Ann Knopp and her husband Justin of Kissimmee, Lisa Marion Bacon and her husband David of Jacksonville, FL and his son: Arthur Van Dolan, Jr. and his wife Jacqueline of Haledon NJ. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife Marian Van Dolan (nee Platte) in 2013 . The funeral will be held 10:00 am on Wednesday, July 6 at DeLuccia - Lozito Funeral Home, 265 Belmont Avenue, Haledon, NJ. Burial will be in Laurel Grove Cemetery, Totowa, NJ . Visiting hours will be Tuesday, July 5 from 4-7 PM at DeLuccia - Lozito Funeral Home, 265 Belmont Avenue, Haledon, NJ.
