William R. Rivera, Jr., age 67, of Paterson died Wednesday, May 18, 2016 at St. Joseph's Hospital And Medical Center of Paterson, NJ. William was born December 14, 1948 in San German, PR. He is the son of the late William and the late Livia (Oliveras) Rivera.
He served in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. He was a Disabled Veteran and a recipient of the Purple Heart. He was a member of the Fleet Reserve Association.
He is survived by his sister: Livia Rivera of Paterson, NJ and his brother: Hector E. Rivera of Manchester, NJ. He is also survived by his cousins; Shelia Carrillo, Luis Pagan and Shanty Paduani.
The funeral will be held 8:00 pm on Wednesday, May 25 at DeLuccia - Lozito Funeral Home, 265 Belmont Avenue, Haledon, NJ. Cremation will be private.
Visiting hours will be Wednesday, May 25 from 6-8 PM at DeLuccia - Lozito Funeral Home, 265 Belmont Avenue, Haledon, NJ.
