Obituary of Antoinette Rubera

Antoinette Rubera, age 72, of Wayne died Sunday, September 15, 2013 at Preakness Healthcare Center in Wayne, NJ. Antoinette was born August 26, 1941 in Solarino, Provice de Siracusa, Sicily, Italy. She is the daughter of the late Salvatore and the late Paola (Mongarella) Rubera. She came to the United States in 1955 and settled in Poughkeepsie, NY and moved to Paterson, NJ in 1959 before moving to Wayne. She is survived by her two brothers: Antonio Rubera of Haledon, NJ, Paolo Rubera of Florida. She was predeceased by her sister, Vincenza Rubera. The funeral will be held 12:00 pm on Tuesday, September 17 at DeLuccia - Lozito Funeral Home, 265 Belmont Avenue, Haledon, NJ. Burial will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa, NJ. Visiting hours will be Tuesday, September 17 from 10 am - 12 noon.
