Obituary of Vasko Subota

Vasko Subota, age 62, of Paterson died Thursday, February 18, 2016 at home in Paterson. Vasko was born February 5, 1954 in Kotor, Montenegro . He is the son of the late Tudor and the late Maria (Bagatella) Subota. He came to the United States in 1959 and settled in Paterson, . He served in the Army during the the Vietnam war. He was a Real Estate Broker and the owner of Subota Real Estate, Paterson, NJ. He was a member of St. John's Serbian Orthodox Church in Paterson. He is survived by his wife: Luz (Garcia) Subota , his two daughters: Kimberly Maldonado of Pompton Lakes, NJ, Diana Subota of Woodland Park, NJ and his son: Steven Subota of Paterson, NJ. He is also survived by his cousin, Mladen Frankovic. The funeral will be held 10:00 am on Tuesday, February 23 at St. John Serbian Orthodox Church, 119 Carlisle Avenue, Paterson, NJ.Burial will be in Laurel Grove Cemetery, Totowa, NJ. Visiting hours will be Monday, February 22 from 7-9 PM at DeLuccia - Lozito Funeral Home, 265 Belmont Avenue, Haledon, NJ.
