Obituary of Pasquale Chiariello

Pasquale Chiariello, age 79, of Hawthorne died Wednesday, September 17, 2014 at Oak Ridge Rehabilitation and Nursing Home in Wayne, NJ. Pasquale was born in Montecorice, Italy. He is the son of the late Dominico and the late Tomasina (Martini) Chiariello. He lived in Brazil before moving to the United States in 1966 and settling in Paterson, NJ. He has lived in Hawthorne since 1992.
He was a Dye House Worker and was employed by Corallo Dye, Avalon Dye and Zenith Dye. He was a member of Dyers Local, No. 1733 in Paterson.
He is survived by his wife: Bruna (Santangelo) Chiariello and his three daughters: Tomasina DiMatteo of Fair Lawn, NJ, Modestina Volpe and her husband Salvatore of Fair Lawn, NJ and Rosa Cavagnaro and her husband Guido of Genoa, Italy. He is also survived by his two sisters: Maria Barone, Giovanna Chiariello and his two brothers: Gabriel Chiariello and his wife Rosa and Antonio Chiariello and his wife Angela, his six grandchildren: Dominico, Libertaria, Florentino, Annamaria, Christina and Fillipo and his two great grandchildren; Luca and Adrianna.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held 9:30 am on Tuesday, September 23 at St. Anthony's R.C. Church, 276 Diamond Bridge Avenue, Hawthorne, NJ. Entombment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Paterson, NJ.
Visiting hours will be Sunday, September 21 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM.
