Obituary of Teresa Stately

Teresa "Terri" Stately, age 85, of North Haledon died Monday, July 21, 2014 at Hospice Of New Jersey in Wayne, NJ. Teresa was born November 13, 1928 in Paterson, NJ. She is the daughter of the late Angelo and the late Carmela (Venditti) Portella. She was employed by Memorial School, North Haledon, NJ as a Teacher's Aide and also worked at Herb's T.V. in North Haledon. She was a parishioner of St. Paul's R.C. Church in Prospect Park, NJ. She is survived by her husband: Joseph M. Stately, Sr., her daughters: Judith Sees of North Haledon, NJ, Cheryl Brillante and her husband Christopher of Pompton Lakes, NJ and her son: Joseph M. Stately, Jr. and his wife Mary of North Haledon, NJ. She is also survived by her grandchildren; John Jensen and his wife Amanda, Louis Sees, III, Christopher Brillante, Jr., Alyssa Brillante, Joseph Stately , Michael Stately and a great granddaughter, Lilian Jensen. She was predeceased by her sisters, Ann Portella and Laura Aro. A Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:00 am on Friday, July 25 at St. Paul's R.C. Church, 286 Haledon Avenue, Prospect Park, NJ. Entombment will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa, NJ. Visiting hours will be Thursday, July 24 from 3-8 pm.
