Obituary of Virginia Marie Vervaet

Virginia Marie Vervaet, age 83, of Mahwah died Wednesday, July 16, 2014 at St. Joseph's Hospital And Medical Center in Paterson, NJ. Virginia was born December 3, 1930 in Paterson, NJ. She is the daughter of the late Frederick and the late Amelia (Fourneyron) Joosten. She was a self employed Certified Tax Practitioner. She is survived by her daughter: Robyn C. Lohwasser and her husband Eric of Mahwah, NJ and her son: Steven Vervaet and his wife Terry of Netcong, NJ; her sister: Mary Van Haste of Sussex, NJ and her brother: Dr. William Joosten and his wife Barbara of Paramus, NJ. She is also survived by her grandchildren: David Vervaet and his wife Sandra of Highland Lakes, NJ, Eric Lohwasser, Jr and his wife Kathryn of New York, NY and Jenna Lohwasser of Mahwah, her great grandchildren: Andrew Vervaet, Julie Vervaet, Alyson Vervaet and Sean Vervaet and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert J. Vervaet (2007) and her brothers, Charles Joosten, Freddie Joosten, Albert Joosten and a sister, Judy Joosten. The funeral will be held 5:30 pm on Sunday, July 20 at DeLuccia - Lozito Funeral Home, 265 Belmont Avenue, Haledon, NJ. Cremation is private. Visiting hours will be Sunday, July 20 from 2-5:30PM.
