Obituary of Richard Marshall

Richard Marshall, age 89, of, Wayne died Wednesday, June 11, 2014 at Chilton Memorial Hospital in Pompton Plains, NJ. Richard was born December 17, 1924 in Bayonne, NJ. He is the son of the late Edwin and the late Harriet (Farley) Marshall. He served in the Navy during World War II from 1944 to 1946. He a Certified Public Accountant employed by Chemical Bank, New York, NY and retired in 1990. He was a former parishioner of Our Lady of Consolation R.C. Church in Wayne. He is survived by his wife: Joan S.(Schmitt) Marshall, his sons: Richard Marshall of Greenville, PA and Rhys Marshall of Wayne, NJ. He is also survived by his granddaughters; Naomi and Emily Marshall. Predeceased by his first wife Naomi Marshall, his brother, Theodore Marshall and his sisters, Grace Komst, Emma Occimio and Frances Occimio. A Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:00 am on Monday, June 16 at St. Leo's R.C. Church, Market Street, Elmwood Park, NJ with Rev. Michael Donovan officiating. Burial will be in Holy Name Cemetery, Jersey City . Visiting hours will be Sunday, June 15 from 2-5 pm. .
