Obituary of Milton Isaacs

Milton Isaacs, age 83, of Haledon died Wednesday, April 30, 2014 at St. Joseph's Hospital And Medical Center in Paterson, NJ. Milton was born November 20, 1930 in Guyane, S.A.. He is the son of the late Paul and the late Edith (Permul) Isaacs. He came to the United States in 1975 an settled in Paterson and moved to Haledon in 2004. He was the manager of Palisade Parkway Sunoco, Englewood Cliffs, NJ for many 30 years and retired in 2013. He was a parishioner of St. Paul's R.C. Church in Prospect Park, NJ. He is survived by his daughters: Audley Dookram and her husband Joseph, Lynette Isaacs, Gloria Schweitzer and her husband Robert, Ceneitta Khadaroo, Audrey LoRusso and her husband Anthony and Donna Singh, his brother : Desmond Isaacs and his grandchildren, Barbara, Renauta, Kevin, Janel, Stephanie, Charlene, Cristian, Jamie, Einar, Makesha and Krystal. He is also survived by six great grandchildren and his adopted daughter Eleanor Waite. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his wife Frances Isaacs. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday at St. Paul's R.C. Church, 286 Haledon Avenue, Prospect Park, NJ at 9:30 AM. Cremation will be at Cedar Lawn Cemetery, Paterson, NJ. Visiting on Sunday from 3-7 PM.
