Obituary of Eileen Twomey

Eileen Twomey, age 89, of Haledon died Sunday, February 16, 2014 at The Atrium At Wayne in Wayne, NJ. Eileen was born January 30, 1925 in Paterson, NJ. She is the daughter of the late John A. and the late Anna (Hunt) Delaney. She lived in Paterson most of her life and moved to Haledon in 2004. Before retiring she was employed by J.C. Penney as a sales clerk where she worked for 20 years. She previously worked as a switchboard operator at Jacobs in Paterson for 20 years and American Light Alloys in Little Falls, NJ for 20 years. She is survived by her two daughters, Carol Scialla and her husband Bob of North Haledon, NJ and Shelia McIvor of and her late husband William of Haledon, NJ. She is also survived by her grandchildren; Scott McIvor, Brian McIvor, Shawn McIvor, Brett McIvor, Dara Roca, Robert Scialla, Jr, David Scialla and Mark Scialla, her daughter-in-law: Colleen Twomey and seventeen great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband , James Twomey and her son, James Thomas Twomey. A Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:00 am on Wednesday, February 19 at St. Gerard's R.C. Church, West Broadway, Paterson, NJ. Burial will be in Christ The King Cemetery, Franklin Lakes, NJ. Visiting hours will be Tuesday, February 18 from 4-8pm.
