Obituary of Rose Sciancalepore

Rose Sciancalepore (nee Valente), 90, of Wayne for eight years and prior of Toms River for 22 years, passed away on September 25, 2022.  For 20 years, she was a bank teller for PNC Bank in Paterson, retiring at the age of 57.  Rose was an avid Mets fan.  She enjoyed going to Atlantic City or any other casino once a month and crocheting then selling her items on Etsy.  She was a member of the Red Hat Society, was the number one bocce ball player in her club and on a bowling league.  Beloved wife of the late Cosmo Sciancalepore.  Loving mother of Pasqua Malzone and her husband Addy, Anna Indovina and her husband Carlo, Joseph Sciancalepore and his wife Adelia and Maria Almounir and her husband Ammar.  Cherished grandmother of Mara, Jaclyn, Erin, Jessica, Stephanie, Michelle and great grandmother of Angelina, Dominick, Derek, Alyssa, Savanna, Sophia and Ava.  Dear sister of Theresa Storno and her husband Jerry and the late Viola Bruno and Gloria Schaefer.  Funeral departing from the De Luccia-Lozito Funeral Home, 265 Belmont Ave., Haledon on Friday, September 30, 2022 at 9:30 AM for a Funeral Mass in St. Bonaventure Church, Paterson at 10:15 AM.  Entombment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa.  Visitation Thursday 2-4, 7-9 PM.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
