Obituary of Joanne Emmolo

Joanne Emmolo (nee Fiorilla), 90, of Woodland Park, NJ passed away on Saturday, April 9, 2022 surrounded by her loving family.   She was born in Santa Croce Camerina, Sicily, Italy and came to the United States in 1951 and settled in Paterson, NJ and has lived in Woodland Park since 1965.  She was a seamstress and worked at H & D Sportwear in Woodland Park, NJ for 20 years and retired in 1975.  She was a parishioner of St. Bonaventure R.C. Church in Paterson and a member of the St. Giuseppe Santa Croce Society in Hawthorne, NJ.  Beloved wife of the late Joseph P. Emmolo.  Devoted mother of John Emmolo and his wife Diane of Totowa, Dean Emmolo and his wife Bianca of Franklin Lakes, NJ, Larry Emmolo of Fair Lawn, NJ and David Emmolo and his wife Marianna of Wyckoff, NJ.  Loving grandmother of  Gabrielle Jimenez and her husband Doug, Joseph Emmolo and his wife Cristina  and Anthony, Janelle, Alexander and Julietta Emmolo.  Cherished great grandmother of  Gianmarco and Azzurra Emmolo and Giovanni Jimenez.  Dear sister of the late Nelly Iuculano, Josephine Ferraro and Salvatore and Anthony Fiorilla. Funeral from DeLuccia-Lozito Home, 265 Belmont Avenue, Haledon, NJ on Wednesday at 9:15 AM.  Funeral Liturgy at St. Bonaventure R.C.
