Raimundo Torres, age 83, of Rio Grande, PR died Sunday, October 2, 2011.He was born April 10, 1928 in Arecibo, PR. He married Milagros Morales on May 18, 1955. He came to the United States in 1962 and settled in Brooklyn, NY and returned to Puerto Rico in 1993.
He retired from Brooklyn Board Of Education, New York, NY as a custodian in 1993 where he worked for 30 years.
He is survived by his wife: Milagros (Morales) Torres ,his son: Edwin Torres, his daughter: Miriam Moran and his grandchildren; Edwin Torres, Jr., Melissa Mulero, Michael Torres, Emilia Moran, Carlos Moran, Jr. and Anthony Torres. He is also survived by six great grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held 9:30 am on Thursday, October 6 at St. Gerard's R.C. Church, , Paterson, NJ. Burial will be in Laurel Grove Cemetery, Totowa, NJ.
Visiting hours will be Wednesday, October 5 from 5-9 pm.
