Obituary of Carmelina Bucci

Carmelina Bucci (DiStefano), age 92, of Paterson, NJ passed away surrounded by her family on Friday, February 18, 2022.  Born on September 12, 1929 in Pozzallo, Province of Ragusa, Sicily, Italy she came to the United States in 1951 and settled in Paterson where she lived her entire life.  She was a seamstress and  worked at Styles, Inc. in Paterson for many years and retired in 1991.  She was a parishioner of Our Lady of Pompeii R.C. Church and was a member of Our Lady of Pompeii Seniors and the Rosary Society.  Beloved wife of the late Antonio Bucci.  Devoted mother of Mila Bucci and Nick Bucci and his wife Donna.  Cherished grandmother of Nicole Bucci, Daniella Arellano and her husband Rafael and Andrea Bucci and her fiance Christopher Santaniello.  Dear sister of the late Maria Giardina, Santina Pionovi, Giuseppina Cintoli and Salvatore and Antonio DiStefano.  She is also survived by nieces and nephews in the USA and Italy.  Funeral from DeLuccia-Lozito Funeral Home, 265 Belmont Avenue, Haledon, NJ on Wednesday at 9 AM.  Funeral Liturgy at Our Lady of Pompeii R.C. Church, Paterson, NJ at 10 AM.  Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa, NJ,  Visiting on Tuesday from 4-8 PM.
