Obituary of Jennifer Mary Mercado

Jennifer McCarthy Mercado of Clifton passed peacefully in her home on July 7, 2021. She enjoyed caring for others in her career and continued in that as a loving mother and grandmother. As the events of the pandemic continued, she was very involved in her prayer group continuing her care and love for others. She will be missed by all that knew and loved her.

Jennifer is predeceased by her parents, George and Eileen McCarthy; brother George McCarthy, Jr.; and son, John Paul Boyko. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her daughter, Heather Boyko; sons, Douglas Boyko and his wife, Nicolle and Jason Boyko and his wife, Patricia; treasured grandchildren, Deanna Dziewa, Orlando Pena, and Jason Boyko, Lillyanna and Gavynn Boyko, and Elizabeth and Zoe Boyko; sister, Barbara McCarthy; brother, Jeffrey McCarthy and his wife Susan; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and adored friends.

Funeral Service on Wednesday July 14, 2021 at the Deluccia Lozito Funeral Home, 265 Belmont Avenue, Haledon, NJ, at 10 AM. Interment to follow at Laurel Grove Memorial Park in Totowa. Visiting on Tuesday July 13, 2021 from 5 PM to 8 PM.
