Obituary of Lydia Ivanow

Lydia Ivanow (nee Koch), 90, of Paterson, NJ passed away on Saturday, April 24, 2021.  She was born in the Ukraine and came to the United States in 1949 and settled in Boston, MA and lived in San Antonio, TX, Sacramento, CA and Seattle, WA before moving to Paterson in 1963.  She was a head cashier at Two Guys in Totowa, NJ for 12 years and retired in 1981.  She was a parishoner of St. Michael's R.O. Church in Paterson and Wayne, NJ where she was a member of the choir and the church Sisterhood. Beloved wife of the late Nick Ivanow.  Devoted mother of Walter Ivanow of Scappose, OR, Nick Ivanow of Paterson and Alex Ivanow of Paterson.  Dear sister of the late Anatoliy Koch.  Loving grandmother of Trevor, Deena, Tony, Lydia, Marie, Cody and Ashley.  She is also survived by five great grandchildren.  Funeral Service at St. Michael's Russian Orthodox Church, 171 Colfax Avenue, Wayne, NJ on Wednesday at 10 AM.  Panichida on Tuesday at DeLuccia-Lozito Funeral Home, 265 Belmont Avenue, Haledon, NJ at 5 PM.  Interment, Novo DiVeevo Cemetery, Spring Valley, NY.
