Obituary of Dorothy Browning

Dorothy Browning, age 89, of Wayne died Tuesday, May 31, 2011 at St. Joseph's Wayne Hospital in Wayne, NJ. Dorothy was born August 4, 1921 in Paterson, NJ. She is the daughter of the late Thomas and the late Ellen (Brooks) Lynch. She was a central service clerk at New Jersey Bell for 40 years and retired in 1983. . She was a parishioner of St. Paul's R.C. Church, Prospect Park, NJ. She also was a member of St. Paul's Seniors, National AARP and the Past President and Fund Raiser of the Life Member Club at NJ Bell. She is survived by her sister: Mary Beryl Turner of Orleans, VT. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and grand nieces & grand nephews and a sister-in-law, Leslie Lynch. She was predeceased by her husband; Matthew Browning and her brothers; Thomas and Charles Lynch and her sister; Eleanor Van Streis. The funeral will be held 11:00 am on Tuesday, June 7 at DeLuccia - Lozito Funeral Home, 265 Belmont Avenue, Haledon, NJ. Cremation is private. Visiting hours will be Tuesday, June 7 from 10 am - 11 am at DeLuccia - Lozito Funeral Home, 265 Belmont Avenue, Haledon, NJ. .
