Obituary of Thomas A. Maselli

Thomas A. Maselli, age 73, of Haledon died Saturday, April 30, 2011. Thomas was born January 10, 1938 in Paterson, NJ. He is the son of the late Thomas G. and the late Mary (Esposito) Maselli. He has lived in Haledon for 47 years. He was employed by Atlantic Stewardship Bank as an Assistant Vice President and branch manager for the North Haledon and Wyckoff branches. He was the former President of the Hawthorne Lions Club, a member of North Haledon U.N.I.C.O., former member of the Haledon and Manchester School Boards, Treasurer of the Botto House American Labor Museum, he served on the Haledon Board of Adjustment and was a former Trustee of St. Gerard's R.C. Church. He was an avid sportsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He is survived by his wife: Sandra (Spagnola) Maselli and two daughters: Stacie Franco and her husband David of Kinnelon, NJ and Amy Bachia and her husband Paul of Sloatsburg, NY. He is also survived by his sister: Flora Pascrell of North Babylon, LI, NY and his five grandchildren; Christina, Joseph, Angelina, Beau and Bryce. A Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:00 am on Wednesday, May 4 (Please meet at church) at St. Gerard's R.C. Church, , Paterson, NJ. Entombment will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa, NJ. Visiting hours will be Tuesday, May 3 from 3 - 8 pm at DeLuccia - Lozito Funeral Home, 265 Belmont Avenue, Haledon, NJ. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Thomas A. Maselli Memorial Scholarship Fund.
