Obituary of Adele Roca

Adele Roca, age 84, of Ringwood died peacefully Easter Sunday, April 24, 2011 at St. Joseph's Wayne Hospital of Wayne, NJ after a brief battle with cancer. Adele was born November 27, 1926 in Paterson, NJ. She is the daughter of the late Nicholas and the late Mary (Fenimore) Perna. She worked at Eastside High School, Paterson, NJ as a Cafeteria Worker for 20 years and retired in 1989. She was a parishioner of St. Mary's R.C. Church, Pompton Lakes and a member of the Riverside Vets Ladies Auxiliary. She is survived by her husband: Carmen Roca, her two sons: William Roca and his wife Joyce of Flanders, NJ and Nick Roca and his wife Joann of Wanaque, NJ, her daughter: Judy Wagner and her husband Chris of Ringwood, NJ and her brother: Matthew Perna of Vernon, NJ. She is also survived by her grandchildren; Kristie Guardascione, Jenny Roca, Marc Roca, Cari Jurgensen, Megan Roca, Martha Wagner and Olivia Wagner and her great grandchildren; Lucia, Ava, Amelia, Owen and Emma Jo. A Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:30 am on Thursday, April 28 at St. Mary's R.C. Church, , Pompton Lakes, NJ. Burial will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa, NJ. Visiting hours will be Wednesday, April 27 from 4 - 8 PM.
