Obituary of Catherine B. Cosenza

Cosenza, Catherine B. (nee Funicelli), 83, of Ortley Beach for 3 years and formerly a life long resident of Paterson passed away on January 6, 2011. For 5 years she owned and operated Cathy-Lou Dress Shop in Paterson until 1954. For 21 years she was a Toy Buyer for Joe Ordini Toy Parade in Paterson. She was a parishioner of Blessed Sacrament Church in Paterson. Catherine was a member of the Ortley Beach Sea-Bay Club, the All-Wags Ladies' Auxiliary, the United States Marine Corps 8th Battalion Auxiliary, a former Commissioner of the Paterson Board of Education and a former Girl Scout Leader. Catherine and her husband Lou had a vacation home for 50 years in Ortley Beach and also enjoyed spending the winters at their Florida home. Beloved wife of Louis A. Cosenza. Loving mother of Cathy Cosenza and the late Louanne Cosenza and Peter James Cosenza. Dear sister of Angela Funicelli and the late Joseph Funicelli. Funeral from the DeLuccia-Lozito Funeral Home, 265 Belmont Ave., Haledon on Monday, January 10, 2011 at 9:00 AM and from Blessed Sacrament Church, Paterson at 10:00 AM. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. Visitation Saturday evening 6-8 PM and Sunday 2-4, 7-9 PM.
