Obituary of Maria S. Paruta

Maria S. Paruta, age 89, of Wayne died Tuesday, November 30, 2010 at St. Joseph's Wayne Hospital of Wayne, NJ. Maria was born March 30, 1921 in Brooklyn , NY. She is the daughter of the late Rosario and the late Grace (Romano) Barbera. She lived in Paterson, NJ before moving to Wayne in 1977. She was a homemaker. She is survived by two sons: Robert Paruta of Wayne, NJ and Joseph Paruta of Cape May, NJ; she also has five grandchildren, Linda, Dominic, Anthony, Nicole and Lauren, and two great granddaughters; Julina and Carleigh. She was predeceased by her husband Joseph Paruta, a brother; John V. Barbera and her siters; Laura Seale and Rita Krupa. A memorial service will be held 6:30 pm on Thursday, December 2 at DeLuccia - Lozito Funeral Home, 265 Belmont Avenue, Haledon, NJ. Visiting hours will be Thursday, December 2 from 3-7 PM.
