Josephine Lorenzo, age 90, of Towaco died Monday, October 4, 2010 at Hospice Of New Jersey of Wayne, NJ. Josephine was born January 6, 1920 in Hackensack, NJ. She is the daughter of the late Paul and the late Ignacia (Fiorilla) Bellassai.
She was a seamstress.
She was a former parishioner of St. Gerard's R.C. Church, Paterson, NJ.
She is survived by three daughters: Phyllis Franco of Towaco, NJ, Michele Salter of Sparta, NJ and Mary Moore of Deland, FL. She also has seven grandchildren; Rocco, Lauren, Nicholas, Brittney, Sheri, Kevin, Jr. and Patrick and a great grandson; Aiden.
She was predeceased by her husband; Antonio Lorenzo, a son; Salvatore Lorenzo and a brother; John Bellassai.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:00 am on Thursday, October 7 at St. Gerard's R.C. Church, , Paterson, NJ. Burial will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa, NJ.
Visiting hours will be Wednesday, October 6 from 3-8 pm at DeLuccia - Lozito Funeral Home, 265 Belmont Avenue, Haledon, NJ.
