Obituary of Evelyn Trapanese

Evelyn Trapanese, age 81, of Hawthorne, NJ died Saturday, May 22, 2010 at St. Joseph's Wayne Hospital , Wayne, NJ. Evelyn was born April 1, 1929 in Paterson, NJ. She is the daughter of the late Giuseppe and the late Immaculata Trapanese. She was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Anthony's R.C. Church, Hawthorne, NJ. She is survived by one daughter: Adele Di Donato and her husband Gerry of Hamilton, NJ her son: Joseph Rizzo of Paterson, NJ; her sister: Emma Appaluccio of North Haledon, NJ, her brother: Alphonse Trapanese of Toms River, NJ; and her grandchildren; Scott Di Donato, Tara Di Donato and her fiancé John Woodhead, Victoria Rizzo and Alexis Rizzo, her daughter-in-law; Laurie Romanelli; a niece, Marianne Messineo and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister, Connie Messineo and her brothers; Samuel and James Trapanese.. A Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:00 am on Wednesday, May 26 at St. Anthony's R.C. Church, 138 Beech Street, Paterson, NJ. Burial will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Visiting hours will be Tuesday, May 26 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
