Obituary of Maria Korobkov

Maria Korobkov, age 93, of Paterson died Monday, May 3, 2010. Maria was born July 7, 1916 in Germany and came to the United States in 1951 and settled in Oklahoma before moving to Paterson in 1954. She worked as a seamstress in a coat factory in Paterson for many years. Maria Korobkov was a parishioner of St. Michael's R.C. Church, Paterson, NJ. She is survived by two daughters: Emilia Leemans of Paterson, NJ and Elizabeth Obermeyer in Germany, a son; Franz Plattner, three grandchildren, Yvonne Holste, Mark Leemans and Joseph Leemans four great-grandchildren; Daniel Leemans, Dylan Leemans , Hank Holste and Jack Holste. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren in Europe. She was predeceased by her husband Gabriel Korobkov and her son Steven Korobkov. A Mass of Christian burial will be held 9:30 am on Saturday, May 8 at St. Michael's R.C. Church, Paterson, NJ. Burial will be in Novo DiVeevo Cemetery, Spring Valley, NY. Visiting hours will be Friday, May 7 from 2-4 & 6-8PM at DeLuccia - Lozito Funeral Home, 265 Belmont Avenue, Haledon, NJ.
