Obituary of Robert J. Domaleski

Robert J. Domaleski, Sr., age 74, died Wednesday, February 3, 2010 at home in Glen Ridge. Robert was born February 18, 1935 in Nutley, NJ. He is the son of the late Felix and the late Anna (Carney) Domaleski. He married Rosemary Morreale. He was a self employed general contractor for 35 years and retired in 1985. After his retirement he became a golf professional and worked at Basking Ridge Country Club and Greenbrier at Whittingham in Monroe, NJ Mr. Domaleski was a member of United States Golf Association and the Professional Golfers Association. He is survived by his wife: Rosemary (Morreale) Domaleski , one daughter: Lisa Savage and her husband Scott of Weston, CT and one son: Robert J. Domaleski, Jr. and his wife Sharon of Franklin Lakes, NJ; his brothers: Richard Domaleski of Cape Coral, FL, James Domaleski of Cape Coral , FL and Bernard Domaleski of Rockaway, NJ; he also has four grandchildren. granddaughter, Chelsea; grandson, Robert, III; grandson, Forest and granddaughter, Kendra. He was predeceased by his sister, Anna Koblanski. A Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:00 am on Tuesday, February 9 at Our Lady Of Mount Carmel R.C. Church, Nutley, NJ with Rev. Michael Donovan officiating. A prayer service will be held 8:45 am on Tuesday, February 9, 2010 at DeLuccia - Lozito Funeral Home, 265 Belmont Avenue, Haledon, NJ. Burial will be in Hollywood Memorial Park, Union. Calling hours will be Monday, February 8 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at DeLuccia - Lozito Funeral Home, 265 Belmont Avenue, Haledon, NJ. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
