Obituary of Brian T. Mc Namara

Brian T. Mc Namara,CFSP, 55, was born in Paterson, lived in Paterson , Hawthorne and Totowa . Brian was a Funeral Director for Wien & Wien,Inc. of Hackensack, Englewood and Jersey City, for 17 years. A member and Past President of the New Jersey State Funeral Directors Association, a member of the National Funeral Directors Association, a member and Past President of Passaic County Funeral Directors Association and a member of the American Funeral Service Association.He also was a member & Past Grand Knight of Paterson Council #240 for 3 terms. He was appointed District Deputy in 1980 by State Deputy Hugh E. De Fazio,KSG then reappointed in 1991 for 3 years. He also served the Knights of Columbus New Jersey State Council in other positions, last as the Director of Logistics and Protocol from 1997 - 1999. He was the founder of the "Has Beens Club",a club of Former District Deputies, he also was a member Msgr. Stein General Assembly,4th Degree Knights of Columbus,Past Chairman of the Paterson Federation of Knights of Columbus Councils. Pompton Lakes Lodge #1895,BPOE. He was a member of The Paterson Serra Club. Parishioner & Lecturer at St. James of the Marches RC Church,Totowa.Devoted son of the late Bernard T., Sr. and Katherine Rita (nee Hughes) Mc Namara. Dear brother of Bernard T. Mc Namara, Jr. and his wife June and the late Dennis Mc Namara.Loving uncle of Chelsea. Funeral from DeLuccia - Lozito Funer al Home, 265 Belmont Avenue, Haledon, NJ on Wednesday at 8:30 am.Funeral Liturgy at St. James of the Marches R.C.
