Obituary of Michael A. Raso

Michael A. Raso, age 36, of Vernon, NJ died Saturday, April 25, 2009.Mr. Raso was born March 21, 1973 in Franklin Square, NY the son of Michael L. and Dorothy (Gunther) Raso. He lived in Hawthorne, NJ and Haledon, NJ before moving to Vernon in 2004. He was employed by as a Service Consultant for Mercedes Benz of Manhattan for the past 5 years. Mr. Raso was a member of St. Francis de Sales R.C. Church, Vernon, NJ, a former parishioner of St. Anthony's R.C. Church, a member of the Thunder Motorcycle Club, a cub scout leader for pack 283 Vernon and a baseball coach for the Vernon P.A.L.He is survived by his wife: Heather (Batelli) Raso, his children; Daniella Marie and Anthony Michael Raso, his parents; Michael L. Raso of Howard Beach, NY and Dee (Gunther) Raso of Caldwell, NJ, his sisters: Patricia Direzze and her husband John and Linda Raso both of Caldwell and Mariella Raso of Howard Beach, NY , his grandparents;, Alexander and Sadie Raso of Wantaugh, NY, his nieces and nephews, Payton, Brandon, Mia, Nicholas, Jenna, Michael and Kayla; his father-in-law, Danny Batelli, his mother-in-law, Gloria Batelli, his sister-in-law, Jennifer and her husband Kris and his brother-in-law, Danny, Jr. and his wife Vanessa. Visiting hours will be Wednesday from 3-9 pm at DeLuccia - Lozito Funeral Home, 265 Belmont Avenue, Haledon, NJ. The funeral will be Thursday at 10:30 at St. Anthony's R.C.
