Carmela Miller (DiMeola), age 72, of Totowa, NJ died Wednesday, April 22, 2009.Mrs. Miller was born December 9, 1936 in Province de Benevento, Cereto San Nito, Italy the daughter of the late Andre and the late Gelosomina (Paladino) DiMeola. She came to the United States in 1955 and settled in Paterson, NJ before moving to Totowa in 1999.She was Homemaker.Mrs. Miller was a member of St. Anthony's R.C. Church, Paterson, NJShe was predeceased by her husband, John Miller and a brother, Joseph DiMeola.She is survived by two daughters: Anna Marie Miller & Theresa Miller both of Totowa, NJ, three sisters: Concetta Romano of Paterson, NJ, Elvira DiGiacomo of Port St. Lucie, FL, Amelia Sharpe of FL and two brothers: Luigi DiMeola of Center Reach, LI, NY and Antonio DiMeola of Argentina, her grandchildren; Rosa Pluchino, Nuccio Lisitano, John Cardona and Antonio Castronuevo and her great grandchildren; Nuccio Lisitano, Antonio Lisitano and Isabella Pluchino. Visiting hours will be Friday from 5-9pm at DeLuccia - Lozito Funeral Home, Inc., 265 Belmont Avenue, Haledon, NJ. The funeral will be Saturday at 9am at St. Gerard's R.C. Church, Paterson where a Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated. Burial will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa.
