Obituary of Elizabeth C. Townsley

Elizabeth C. Townsley (Ross) age 83, of Paterson died Thursday, April 9, 2009 at Llanfair House, Wayne. Mrs. Townsley was born October 24, 1925 in Rutherford, NJ the daughter of the late Edmund and the late Julia (Sheppard) Ross. She retired from White Birch Nursing Home as a Nurses Aid in 1998 where she worked for 16 years, Mrs. Townsley was a member of St. Mary's Memorial Episcopal Church, Haledon, NJ She is survived by three daughters: Susan Julia McCarthy and her husband Jeffrey of Haledon, NJ, Patricia Townsley of Paterson, NJ and Mary Agnes Ramirez of Paterson, NJ, her grandchildren; Jeffrey McCarthy, Jr, Stephanie McCarthy, Laura McCarthy, Gerald Bussacco, Michael Bussacco, Patrick Bussacco, Jorge Ramirez, Jr., Amy Ramirez and Brittany Ramirez and 5 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Edward Townsley and a daughter, Barbara Ann Townsley Visiting hours will be Monday from 7-9 PM at DeLuccia - Lozito Funeral Home, 265 Belmont Avenue, Haledon, NJ. The funeral will be Tuesday at 10:00 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Laurel Grove Cemetery, Totowa, NJ.
