Obituary of Edith Mae Radice

Edith Mae Radice (nee Davis), 89, passed away peacefully January 21, 2009 at RoseWood Village in Charlottesville, VA. Born in Boonesville, VA, she formerly resided in Whiting, NJ and Tuckerton, NJ, prior to making her home in Charlottesville since August 2007. While in New Jersey, she was involved with the Royal Order of the Amaranth, Inc. Court # 54. She was predeceased by her husband, Charles Radice, and by her parents, Letcher and Mamie Gibson Davis. She was also predeceased by her siblings, Glenwood Davis, Raymond Davis, Vincent Davis, Lillian Dickerson, Nellie Davis, and Virginia Davis. She is survived by nieces and nephews, Shirley Roberts and husband Ron, Stan Batten and wife Pat, Sharon Ormsby and fianc Dee, Guy Batten, Jr., Dolores Morris, Mark Davis and wife Shelia, Paul Davis and wife Sherri, Gail Lewis and husband Kenny, Carlene Howell, Wendy Davis, Barbara Bauer and husband Kevin, Mary Wolbach and husband Rich, Kathy Davis, Ray Davis and wife Kathi, Glenn Davis, Kevin Davis. Honorable mention is given to Grand Niece Sherry Graves for all the tender loving care shown to Edith. They had a special relationship. We also wish to express our gratitude to Grand Niece Sarah Davis for her help and support along the way. The family will receive visitors on Sunday, January 25, 2009 from 5 -6 p.m. at DeLuccia - Lozito Funeral Home, 265 Belmont Avenue, Haledon, NJ. Graveside service will take place at 11 a.m. on Monday, January 26, 2009 at Laurel Grove Memorial Park in Totowa New Jersey. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Charlottesville-Albemarle Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 160, Charlottesville, VA 22902.
