Obituary of Maria Villegas

Maria Villegas (Cadavid) , age 92, of Prospect Park died Thursday, November 20, 2008.Mrs. Villegas was born June 29, 1916 in Medllin, Columbia the daughter of the late Pedro and the late Maria (Charlarca) Cadavid. She came to the United States of America in 1978 and settled in Passaic, NJ. She was employed as a Seamstress.Mrs. Villegas was a member of St. Paul's R.C. Church, Prospect Park, NJShe was predeceased by her husband Marco Tulio Villegas.She is survived by three daughters: Sylvia Villegas , Alba Uribe, Luz Edilma , Marlye Castano and four sons: Jorge, Ferdinando, Rodrigo and Leon, seventeen grandchildren and six great grandchildren.Visiting hours will be Saturday from 10 am - 12 noon at DeLuccia - Lozito Funeral Home, 265 Belmont Avenue, Haledon, NJ. The funeral will be Saturday at 12:30 at St. Paul's R.C. Church, 286 Haledon Avenue, Prospect Park where a Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated.
