My cousin, Sonny (Anthony) lived upstairs from us (my sister Re (Anna Marie), my mom, Anna, and Stepfather, Benjamin). We lived in my Aunt Peg and Uncle Tony's house on Short Street in Paterson. We loved to play fight with Sonny, although sometimes he got a little rough and would pretend he couldn't hear us scream stop!
He would love to show us his muscles to let us know how strong he was--and, we would tell him he was "strong smelling"! I saw him last November just before I found I had breast cancer. We wanted to have a reunion of our "Yokubonis" family the following summer, but I was too sick to think about it! I'm sorry we never got to have the reunion, but I will always remember my "big" cousin! I love you, Sonny and will miss you and your teasing ways!
