Obituary of Camillo Liccardo

Camillo Cam Liccardo, age 92, of Paterson, NJ died Wednesday, September 24, 2008. Mr. Liccardo was born January 17, 1916 in Paterson, NJ the son of the late Frank and the late Italia (Conte) Liccardo. He lived in Haledon, NJ most of his life and also was a resident of St. Petersburg, FL He was employed as a Textile Manager for 40 years where everybody knew him as Carmen and retired in 1979. He worked at Martin Weiner Industries, Clifton, NJ, Sovereign Textiles, New York, NY and Riverside Novelty Printing, Paterson, NJ. Mr. Liccardo was a parishioner of St. Paul's R.C. Church, Prospect Park, NJ where he was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council No. 6903. He also was a member of North Haledon Unico and the Passaic County Golf Course. He was predeceased by his wife Elizabeth "Bette" Liccardo (nee Malzone) and a brother Ralph Liccardo. He is survived by one daughter: Judy Bushnauskus of Pompton Plains, NJ his sisters: Phyllis Iurato of Pompton Lakes, NJ, Ann Coniglio of Paramus, NJ and his granddaughters; Danielle and Michelle and many nieces and nephews. Visiting will be Friday from 4 - 8 PM at DeLuccia - Lozito Funeral Home, 265 Belmont Avenue, Haledon, NJ. The funeral will be Saturday at 9:30 at St. Paul's R.C. Church, 286 Haledon Avenue, Prospect Park where a Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated. Entombment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Paterson.
