Obituary of Gloria Parkin

Gloria Parkin (nee Monti) age 79, of Paterson, NJ died Monday, September 8, 2008. Mrs. Parkin was born November 8, 1928 Paterson, NJ the daughter of the late Angelo and the late Virginia Monti. She retired from Continental Can Co., Paterson, NJ as a Office Manager in 1987 where she worked for 37 years. Mrs. Parkin was a member and Past President of the Mama Margaret Guild at Don Bosco Technical High School, Paterson, NJ, P.T.A. President for School No. 19, Paterson, NJ, F.M.B.A. Local No. 2 Ladies Auxiliary and the American Legion Post No. 360, Bernard Armitage Ladies Auxiliary She is survived by her husband: Joseph Parkin, Sr. and two sons: Joseph Parkin, Jr. and his wife Andrea of Oxford, NJ, Scott W. Parkin of Haledon, NJ and her grandchildren; Erin Elizabeth Parkin and Christopher Joseph Parkin Visiting hours will be Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at DeLuccia - Lozito Funeral Home, 265 Belmont Avenue, Haledon, NJ. The funeral will be Friday at 10:00 at St. Gerard's R.C. Church, Paterson where a Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated. Burial will be in Laurel Grove Cemetery, Totowa, NJ.
