Angela, I wish we were able to be there, but we are upstate NY (Charlie's mom passed away). You, Ted, and your family are in our hearts and prayers. The picture of Ted captured him completely, especially that happy, loving smile and the twinkle in his eyes. We pray that the Lord blesses you with strength and peace during this very sad time. Sincerely, Marlene & Charlie Revelation 21:1 Then I saw “a new heaven and a new earth,” for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea. 2 I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. 3 And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Look! God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. 4 ‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.”

Ang, Joey, and Stacey, my sincere condolences to all of you and your family. It goes without saying how much Teddy meant to me and the positive influences he had on my life while growing up and which continue to this day. When I was just a young kid and met Teddy almost 40 years ago, he taught me many valuable life lessons, the most important he always stressed to me was to constantly work hard to provide the best that I could for my family. He also was a firm believer in being loyal to your true friends knowing they would be loyal in return. I will look at it as fate that I just happened to be driving by your house two weeks ago in the police car and looked over and saw Teddy. It was great to be able to see and talk with him and I will remember that conversation for a very long time. I wish all of you strength during this time, knowing that you and many of us have so many fond memories. Thank you for being such a great friend and always watching over me. Rest in peace, Don Maio. I will always miss you. Bobby

OUR DEEPEST CONDOLENCES TO YOU, ANGIE, AND YOUR FAMILY. TED AND I WERE SWORN IN ON THE SAME DAY IN 1967. WE SPENT TIME TOGETHER ON PATROL AND SUBSEQUENTLY, SERVED OUR PBA. TED HAD A GIFT FOR GETTING THINGS DONE AND WAS INSTRUMENTAL IN HELPING INCREASE FUNDING FOR THE PBA DEATH BENEFITS. LIVING OUT OF STATE IN FLORIDA, WE HAVEN'T BEEN IN TOUCH. HOWEVER, HANGING ON MY WALL IS A FRAMED PICURE WHEN WE WERE SWORN IN, SO WE SEE TED, REGULARLY, WHICH ALWAYS BRINGS BACK FOND MEMORIES OF A TRUE FRIEND. OUR LOVE TO YOU AND YOUR FAMILY. JACK AND DOTTIE
