Luis Orozco, age 82, of Paterson, NJ died Wednesday, February 24, 2010 at Hackensack Hospice of Hackensack, NJ. Luis was born June 20, 1927 in San Lorenzo, Puerto Rico . He came to the United States in 1967 and settled in Paterson. He is the son of the late Juan and the late Maria (Diaz) Orozco.

He was a baker for Lazzara's Bakery in Paterson, NJ for 15 years and retired in 1989. He was a parishioner of St. Agnes R.C. Church in Paterson.

He is survived by his wife: Josefina(Cruz) Orozco , four daughters: Angelita Troche of FL, Maria Orozco of Paterson, NJ, Santa Gonzales of Paterson, NJ and Carmen Orozco of Paterson, NJ and seven sons: Angel Orozco of Wayne, NJ, Juan Orozco of Paterson, NJ, Cruz Orozco of Paterson, NJ, Basilio Orozco of Clifton, NJ, Antonio Orozco of Fair Lawn, Alberto Orozco of FL, and Pedro Orozco of Prospect Park, NJ. He is also survived by 5 brothers and 4 sisters and 30 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren and a great great grandson.



A Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:00 am on Monday, March 1 at St. Agnes R.C. Church, Paterson, NJ. Burial will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa, NJ.

Visiting hours will be Sunday, February 28 from 6-9 PM at DeLuccia - Lozito Funeral Home, 265 Belmont Avenue, Haledon, NJ.
