Pedro Pi, age 85,North Haledon died Monday, January 4, 2010 at St. Joseph's Wayne Hospital, Wayne.
Mr. Pi was born August 1, 1924 in Pinal Del Rio, Cuba the son of the late Pio and the late Angela Perez. He came to the United States in 1970 and settled in Union City, NJ before moving to North Haledon in 2007.
He retired from Sabrett Hot Dogs , Jersey City, NJ in 1986 where he worked for 16 years.
He is survived by his wife: Maria(Mendez) Pi, three daughters: Odalys Zeitlinger of North Haledon, NJ, Maria Laluz of Paterson, NJ, Idalia Pi of Sarasota, FL and two sons: Elier Pi of North Haledon, NJ and Pedro Pi of Cuba, a sister: Graciela Pi of Cuba and a brother: Osvaldo Pi of Miami, FL. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Visiting hours will be Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at DeLuccia - Lozito Funeral Home, 265 Belmont Avenue, Haledon, NJ. The funeral will be Wednesday evening at 8:30pm at the funeral home.
Cremation will be private.
